When the growing company moved their office from the first floor to the ninth floor in Minnetonka’s Carlson Towers, they looked to iSPACE Environments for architectural products, furniture, workplace technology solutions, and expert services to help move and decommission furnishings from their old address.

A Complete Collection

With a complete timeline of roughly 6 months from plan to final install, the project allowed a full collection of iSPACE Environments solutions to be deployed across the 12,200 square foot office.

Architectural Solutions

196 linear feet of Teknion’s Tek Vue glass storefront system with graphite framery was utilized in combination with traditional drywall construction to create 24 small to medium sized meeting and touchdown rooms, phone rooms, and private offices.

Furniture

Across the floorplate a collection of furniture solutions were specified in brand-centric colors and textures. Teknion tables and Allermuir Casper chairs and counter-height stools provide comfortable accommodations in the breakroom/cafe. Height-adjustable desks are standard across private offices and workstations where Teknion casegoods and Teknion Leverage panel systems provide focus areas for full-time and hoteling team members. In spaces adjacent to focus areas, soft seating from West Elm and hi-top meeting tables from NUCRAFT provide ample space for ad hoc collaboration. A handsome Nevers meeting room table sports a granite top and under-mount power ports in a large conference room, while Teknion tables in smaller meeting spaces and interview rooms create perfect spaces for one-on-one or virtual meetings.

Technology

To enable simple video conferencing within the company and with candidates and clients, Skywater’s many meeting and interview rooms were equipped with Logitech video soundbars. Smaller rooms were provisioned with compact MeetUp systems, while the large conference room utilizes an All-in-One bar — all with soundbeaming mics and 4K pan/tilt cameras. LG displays from 43″ up to 75″ were hung throughout. Atlas Sound soundmasking was installed throughout the office to help improve acoustics across the open floorplan.

Logistics & Decommissioning

In addition to specifying and installing new architectural products, furnishings, and technology, iSPACE Environments also provides professional warehousing, moving and decommissioning services. Our team managed the process to move and recycle many items from Skywater’s previous office.
