Outfitting a Company that’s On-the-Move

The world of logistics and shipping is a high-paced, demanding industry requiring split-second communications and decision making–and connectivity to vast networks of customers, collaborators and suppliers involved in the process. When DestiNATION, one of Minnesota’s fastest growing logistics companies, outgrew their previous offices and decided to move themselves to better accommodations, they looked to iSpace Environments to help plan and outfit the new hub for their operations in Osseo, MN.

Integrated Solutions

The process and products implemented in DestiNATION’s new space demonstrate how iSpace’s Integrated Solutions can truly benefit an organization that is on-the-move. The Goods

Tek Vue Architectural walls from Teknion were utilized in place of traditional construction methods to create private offices and conference/collaboration spaces around the perimeter of their new space. The floor-to-ceiling glass fronts allow light to spill into the work areas, while providing ample acoustic privacy for those inside and out. 

Teknion height-adjustable desks, workstation walls and casegoods in the private offices and the main work areas support a variety of work styles. Humanscale monitor arms accommodating as many as four monitors per workstation–and low-voltage cable runs across the floorplate (also provided by iSpace)–ensure the DestiNATION team has the connectivity they need. Ancillary tables and a mix of cafe, task and soft seating complete the space and provide for all types of activities.

Conference and huddle spaces are equipped with Crestron and Polycom audio and video conferencing and BYOD sharing connectivity to large LG flat panel displays and sound bars. Crestron room scheduling software is accessible outside each space or through company calendar apps. An extra large flat panel display in the training room facilitates company education sessions. Monitors mounted throughout the space allow for digital signage applications and regular contact with news and happenings around the world. All AV connectivity was designed and installed by iSpace.
