The Minneapolis Integrative Medicine Center (MIMC) takes a whole-body, modern approach to wellness with their patients. When designing the new MIMC clinic in Minneapolis, Studio BV turned to iSpace Environments as a trusted and resourceful partner to supply key furnishings, artwork, plants, accessories, low voltage cabling and audio systems to complete the extraordinary, human-centered space.
Though the clinic’s focus is healthcare, there’s a definite tip of the hat to welcoming hospitality environments in the collection of furnishings selected. Patient consultation and lab areas utilize more traditional, adjustable patient exam tables, task chairs and work tables, while infusion therapy areas are outfitted with stylish lounge chairs and ottomans. In lobby, lounge and waiting areas, curvy soft seating, banquettes and side tables are set near woody, arched product displays topped with interesting accessories. Throughout the clinic, framed art, potted plants, and a background music and sound masking system (all sourced and installed by iSpace) create a comfortable, modern retail vibe.
All in all, the iSpace team coordinated with more than a dozen different manufacturers through the 6-month project to gather and install just the right collection of furnishings and technologies to meet MIMC’s needs and Studio BV’s vision.
