Established in 2009, Channel is a lender of both equipment and working capital finance solutions through third-party origination partners. The company has earned recognition as one of Inc. Magazine’s fastest-growing private companies for eleven consecutive years and has facilitated over $2.2 billion in financing for 8,500+ businesses nationwide. To align with their remarkable growth and foster team connectivity, Channel relocated its headquarters to a new, well-equipped space featuring iSpace Environments Architectural, Furniture and Technology solutions.
Architectural Solutions – 583 linear feet of Teknion’s Tek Vue glass storefront facias are integrated with traditional drywall construction to delineate offices and meeting spaces across the floorplate. Tek Vue’s long expanses of frameless glass, glass corners, and 3-way connections between rooms allow ample natural light to permeate interior spaces while providing audio isolation required. Mullions were added to Tek Vue outside the MIXX lounge to enhance the space’s club-like aesthetic. Teknion pods (TekBooth) with frosted glass are positioned near 3rd space lounge areas to provide focus and privacy options.
Furniture – Handsome Teknion case goods in private offices and privacy-height Leverage workstations in open areas are equipped with height-adjustable desks and SitOnIt task seating. Teknion tables and bar stools with stacking Davis A-Chair seating are used extensively in the flexible Channel Hall cafe/common areas. Spec Endzone hi-top tables with a pop of Channel yellow are positioned in meeting rooms and collaboration spaces. The über-flexible Foundation meeting space features flip-top Teknion training tables and SitOnIt seating that nest for easy storage and reconfiguration. Soft seating and tables from Davis, Keilhauer and Bernhardt Design create comfortable ad hoc collaboration and lounge spaces.
Technology – Logitech Teams Room systems are utilized in huddle spaces and meeting spaces for video collaboration. The larger Foundation training space features dual 98″ NEC displays with QSC controls, video over IP distribution, and audio routing that allows for flexible overflow use when the accordion wall is opened to combine with common areas. Biamp mics and speakers bolster audio quality in larger meeting spaces. Meeting room scheduling is connected to Channel’s internal calendaring tools and available via Crestron 10″ touch screens smartly applied to Tek Vue glass walls at meeting room entrances. MPS sound masking is employed throughout the space.
