Electrostatic spray surface cleaning is the process of spraying an electrostatically charged mist onto surfaces and objects. Because the particles in the spray are positively charged, they cling to and coat any surface.

Electrostatic disinfection reduces the amount of time it takes to completely disinfect surfaces so it is an extremely effective method when compared to more traditional cleaning techniques.

The kill time is about two minutes for bacteria and under two minutes for viruses. No wiping is required with electrostatic spraying as it is with other procedures, and it’s safe for all surfaces including electronic equipment.

Chlorine dioxide is a neutral chlorine compound with the formula ClO2. One of the most important qualities of chlorine dioxide is its high solubility in water. Chlorine dioxide does not hydrolyze (or undergo a chemical breakdown reaction) when it enters water. Instead, chlorine dioxide remains intact as a dissolved gas in water. ClO2 is a very small molecule so it can penetrate into very small areas. As a gas ClO2 will completely and evenly fill any space, giving it unmatched distribution and diffusion. Because of its size, ClO2 is a stronger oxidizer and works at much lower concentrations.

There is no need to touch or wipe the surfaces (dependent on solution spraying). This provides a fast and effective application method.

A spray-and-wipe technique can move bacteria from one surface to another. Cross contamination can be considerably reduced due to the touchless effect electrostatic spraying.

Electrostatic sprayers enable a quick and effective chemical application. As fully-charged droplets hit the surface they create an even spread. Particles hold their cationic charge for approx. 2-3 seconds – preventing drips

Other customers who have experienced positive covid-19 test results in their staff have requested a Single Event Service.
