Lindsey Rain Joins iSpace Environments in Strategic Partnerships Role

Industry Connector Applies Designer’s Mindset in New Business Development Role

Lindsey Rain (NCIDQ, LEED AP), a consummate “connector” with more than 35 years of experience in interior design, recently joined the iSpace Environments team – bolstering strategic business development efforts. Rain, a “lifer” in the industry, studied interior design at the UofM College of Design, worked as a project designer, has taught as an adjunct interior design instructor, and spent more than two decades in sales manager roles for some of the industry’s largest global manufacturers.

“I’ve been fortunate to work for some great companies who really value their employees and their customers – and appreciate how designers approach the work. This new role seems like a perfect fit. It really was meant to be,” noted Rain as she described how the stars aligned for this new role.

While her design and manufacturing insights give her the perfect vantage point for this new position, building relationships (which has always been a favorite part of her jobs) will be her focus. “Inviting our partners into our beautiful showroom…getting to know them on an individual basis…understanding their needs…that’s what I really look forward to in this new role.”

Rain’s love of design and building relationships is evident outside her job, as well. She has been a volunteer, committee member and chair for many IIDA Northland and UofM efforts, and often focuses on design education initiatives that mentor interior design students. She’s currently serving on the IIDA Northland MinneCon Committee.

Rain is happily married, has two children, and loves to travel. She’s been to Berlin, Germany, twice (once before the wall came down), got married (eloped) in Greece, and loves Nirvana and Foo Fighters.

Welcome, Lindsey!
